Conceptualizing your ideas can be difficult, and premeditative ideas don’t always translate as you would like. My latest series, yoU’Ve figured it out, illustrates how creativity can best come to fruition in the moment. By collaborating with my subjects, we styled and designed the shoot together without any forethought. They bring clothes they like or want to be shot in, combine that with my wardrobe and UV reactive makeup, and the results feel personal and surreal when shot under black lights.

Invention / Construction. Using different fabrics and lights surrounding a subject, this series aims to illuminate how colors, light movement, and material can almost fabricate an expansive set.

30 minutes of your time.

Setting up shoots can be a long process. I’ve noticed in that time, some of the creative inspiration from the beginning can dwindle by the time you’re actually shooting. Spontaneity is a wonderful part of the creativity, and so my latest series, “30 minutes of your time” is a display of how meeting your subject for a 30 minute, unplanned window in a random location brings you into a fresh, creative zone.

Color is personal and expressive. It is maintained that we may all see colors differently, but do we ever stop to think how a color can change from person to person? If we see each color in our own way, then we probably express colors as individuals as well. The way you see a color on me will be different, in terms of senses and feeling, than that same color will look on someone else. Thus, Juxtapose is a series of color that displays how two people can embody the same color, differently.
